The Mod Office Shipping Policy:
Stock Availability and Lead-Times:
In stock item(s) ship out via standard delivery approximately 1-4 weeks. The Mod Office will notify you immediately if your item(s) have limited stock or are subject to longer lead times. Please contact Customer Service at contactus@TheModOffice.com if you would like to verify stock or lead-times before you place an order.
The Mod Office deliveries are sent by FedEx, UPS, or freight carrier.
Most of our items priced over $150.00 feature free shipping and offer free curbside delivery shipping within the contiguous 48 States. Curbside delivery means products are delivered to your dock, ground-level receiving door or lobby area only.
California Sales Tax: Orders purchased/shipped to an address in California then CA Sales Tax will be applied.
FREE DELIVERY EXCLUSIONS:
Some items are sent via freight carrier ship free, with the following exclusions:
In the case that the ship-to address is not accessible by regular delivery truck, the customer will be responsible for all additional delivery charges, such as "extra liftgate or dolly", "inside delivery", "elevator or stairways", "COI", "re-delivery / reconsignment" and "warehousing or stocking fees", which are charged by the shipping company(s).

Note: Post Office Box and APO/FPO delivery are not available.

Note: Products such as desks, tables, chairs, bookcases, and cabinets will require assembly. Furniture assembly and set up service is not available at this time.
If you require express delivery for your order, please contact Customer Service at contactus@TheModOffice.com. We can verify if the item(s) is available for express delivery and provide you a quote on the express shipping charges for that particular order.
Note: IMPORTANT- Measure proposed space and entry paths before purchase and delivery of furniture:
Before the purchase and delivery of your furniture items, please prepare and measure the proposed space and entry paths. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that furniture items will fit. There must be ample clearances, especially for large items, through entry paths such as, exterior and interior doorways, hallways, elevators, and staircases, etc. If you need measurments/information on products and their packaging please email us at contactus@TheModOffice.com.
Our suppliers take all possible measures to ensure your order(s) ships and arrives in the best condition possible. We ask customers to inspect all the merchandise at the time of arrival. If the items arrive with any visible damages DO NOT sign and contact The Mod Office while the trucking company is still onsite. If you are not able to contact us either refuse the delivery OR make note of the damages on the Bill of Lading or packaging materials before signing the delivery receipt.
If the product is accepted and damaged without noted documentation, the customer will be responsible for filing a claim with the proper carrier.
For damages unnoticed at the time of delivery:
Hidden damage claims must be submitted to us within the 14 day period, as the time lapses it will become more difficult to submit a claim with the carrier. Items should be inspected immediately upon receipt and claims for freight damage must be reported within 14 days.
The Mod Office is not responsible for items not inspected by the customer for hidden damage or visible damage after the 14 day period.
We require that you send photographs of the damaged merchandise via email to Customer Service at contactus@TheModOffice.com as well, so that we can address and resolve the situation.
